This guide will teach you how to use and navigate through the AC Infinity app, which allows you to remotely control your fan using your mobile device. Click on the links below to jump to information on a specific app function.
Adding a New Device
To pair the app with your temperature and humidity controller, tap the “+” icon on the top right corner of the screen. Your phone will automatically activate Bluetooth and attempt to connect with the controller. Once the pairing is successful, a new device will appear on your screen displaying the current temperature, relative humidity, and fan speed. Tapping the device slot will bring you into the control console, where you will be able to adjust settings and usage data.
The wheel provides a visual representation of the controller’s functions, featuring hands that you can slide to easily adjust fan speed and triggers. You can also change settings by using the slider below the wheel or by tapping the “+/-” buttons for more precise adjustments. In the wheel’s center displays the current fan speed, time, and climate condition of the space in which the probe is set. The orange hand along the wheel indicates the current temperature or humidity along with the number in the center. You can toggle between climate readings and triggers by
• OFF Mode – Set the device to turn off.
• ON Mode – Set the device to run continuously at a level from 0 to 10.
• AUTO Mode – Set temperature and humidity triggers that will turn the device on or off.
• TIMER TO ON Mode – Set a one-time countdown that will turn the device on once it ends.
• TIMER TO OFF Mode – Set a one-time countdown that will turn the device off once it ends.
• CYCLE Mode – Set an on and off duration that your device will repeat continuously.
• SCHEDULE Mode – Set an on and off clock time that your device will repeat daily.
This section allows you to program automated controls, alarms, and notifications for customized commands. To create an advanced program, tap the “+” button on the bottom right corner of your screen. Then select the one you want to set up. You can turn it on or off anytime by tapping the slider button on the right-hand side of your screen.
Setting an automation program will allow you to activate a function during the day. Here you can name the program, adjust the start and end time, and select from the functions listed below. When you are finished, tap the confirm button to set the automation program.
- AUTO Mode
If an alarm is set, the controller will make a beeping sound when a temperature or humidity point is crossed. If any of the other modes are check boxed within the same alarm programming, the alarm will make the controller beep if those conditions are met as well. You can select one or all the following functions to trigger an alarm:
- Temperature or Humidity
- AUTO Mode
- Timer to ON
- Timer to OFF
- CYCLE Mode
- SCHEDULE Mode
When arming a notification program, any function listed above that is activated will generate a push notification which will be logged in the activity log.
This section stores quantitative data that is recorded by the controller. You can tap each time interval (hour, day, week, month, or year) at the top of your screen to see the spread of the climate data. Temperature and humidity readings are displayed in fluctuation charts and allow you to see how your space’s climate varies. Temperature and humidity distribution are represented by bar graphs and tell you the most common climate condition within a given time interval. You can export this data as a CSV spreadsheet file to log and track it on your PC.
If you created an advanced notification program, any function you’ve check boxed will generate a push notification if there is an activity from that function. These notifications will be logged here with a time, date, and what the activity was. This history log can be filtered to only display certain functions which include the following:
- AUTO Triggers
- TIMER to ON
- TIMER to OFF
- Notifications (From Advanced Programming)
Tap the gear button at the top right corner of your screen to adjust the controller settings. This is where you will configure your controller’s display, adjust climate readings, and change its name.
This menu includes a sliding button that will toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit scales. You can also select the controller screen brightness using three standard levels [1, 2, and 3] and two auto-dimming modes [A2 and A3]. Sliders accompany each transition and calibration setting to easily adjust how frequent your fan changes speed, and temperature and humidity readings.
When you finish adjusting your controller settings, tap the confirm button to apply the changes. You can also cancel your changes or delete the device from the app.
